Are these Ganador mirrors?

Our Power Aero Mirrors retain the familiar style that many of us know and love; however, we have improved upon the original design wherever possible.

Improvements include convex lenses for improved visibility, better fitment, cleaner lines, LHD and RHD options for most models, and an overall lighter weight.

Offering a dedicated LHD model is a world first. Ganador mirrors were never produced in LHD specification. To create a true LHD version, the entire housing was scanned, mirrored, and rebuilt from the ground up.

So they're a rep?

Well it depends, We prefer to use the term reproduced as opposed to replica. Ganador mirrors are a discontinued product and anyone who knows anything about them understands the market today. Not everyone has $2000 - $5000 available to spend on mirrors. We wanted to give the car community an option to get the classic style at a much more affordable price range while still supplying a superior quality product.

We would like to clear up one thing though, we are big supporters of name brands and always encourage the purchase of original manufacturer parts where possible as it helps them produce quality products and invest in R&D.

However with them being discontinued, Ganador does not see the revenue from any mirrors sold anymore.

How are they made?

Spring-loaded Power Aero Mirrors -

Our spring-loaded Power Aero Mirrors feature modern, precision manufacturing with an aluminium polyamide base and an injection-molded PA Fibre housing, resulting in a lightweight and durable construction.

Aluminium Polyamide is a proprietary material that we have developed specifically for the manufacturing of our mirrors. It is a blend between aluminum and other strong heat-resistant polymers. This results in a material that is as strong as aluminium while also being lightweight.

The spring-loaded folding mechanism allows the mirrors to deflect and return to position. The springs are made from stainless steel, are anodised black and have a PVC protectant sleeve.

The interior mounting motor plates are made from 316L stainless steel, and the super convex lenses are made from the finest European grade glass that is CNC cut and seam sealed for durability.

Carbon Fibre Power Aero Mirrors -

Our Carbon Fibre Power Aero Mirrors are built for maximum weight reduction and clean fitment and is hand manufactured using vacuum-bagged resin infusion, this is our lightest possible construction, delivering a solid design without unnecessary moving components. Each set is handmade to order from real carbon fibre with a UV-protectant clear coat resin

The fixed, non–spring-loaded construction reduces weight and increases rigidity, while powered electric glass adjustment and super convex lenses maintain everyday usability.

Are they Powered/Electric?

Yes! All our Power Aero Mirrors are electric and come with a three-wire wiring loom.

This will need to be spliced into your existing factory wing mirror loom. Once done you can use your factory car switch to control the mirrors. Due to the variances between models and regions it's nearly impossible for us to say which colour wire corresponds with your car as each model is different.

All cars have at least three wires which include left/right function, up/down function and a ground. We recommend splicing the loom into your OEM wing mirror loom plug for a clean install. Any unused wires can be taped off.

If you choose not to splice the wiring loom our Power Aero Mirrors can also be adjusted manually by hand.

Do your mirrors come with a plug?

No, all Power Aero Mirrors are electric and come with a three-wire wiring loom. This will need to be spliced into your factory wing mirror loom during installation.

The reason we don’t supply plugs is because there are simply too many different plug types used across JDM, American, and European market cars even on the exact same model vehicle. Plug types can also vary depending on which dealer options and trim packages were selected when the car was sold new.

Because of this, it’s impossible for us to know exactly which plug configuration each customer has, let alone source every variation of plug used across different markets and model years.

Splicing the wiring is a very straightforward process, and we provide clear instructions showing which wire colour corresponds to each function. Most customers complete the wiring side of the installation in around 30 minutes.

Do they fold?

Yes! Our spring-loaded mirrors have a folding mechanism allows the mirrors to deflect and return to position.

Our Carbon Fibre range of Power Aero Mirrors are non-spring-loaded and are built for maximum weight reduction and clean fitment.

Why are there fewer models available now compared to before?

In 2026, we introduced the new generation of our mirrors, replacing our previous FRP models, which have now been discontinued. The new mirrors are produced using modern casting technology with ultra-strong, lightweight materials and feature a spring-loaded folding mechanism for improved durability and usability.

Due to the significant investment required to retool and produce each model on the new platform, releasing the full spring-loaded lineup will take some time. While this means the full range of our new spring-loaded Power Aero Mirrors isn’t available all at once, we’re gradually moving all models to the new design and expect the complete lineup to return over time.

We will continue to offer carbon fibre finishes across all models as a permanent lightweight option, using our existing moulds, which also allows us to keep these versions available during the transition.

Pre-orders for new models will be announced on Instagram as they become available, so keep an eye on @aerotwentythree for updates.

Can you make me mirrors for my (Insert Car Model)?

We do not take custom orders unfortunately, we are only a two-person team and given our workload we don't have the time or resources to make custom orders at this stage.

Tooling costs for a single model can also run into the thousands of dollars, so for most customers it wouldn’t be an economical option.

Will you ever make mirrors for (insert Car Model)?

Introducing a new model is a time consuming and expensive process, we try our best to introduce new models often but there is only so much two people can do. Keep an eye on our Instagram page and subscribe to our emails, it’s usually where we announce when a new model is available.

Where are you based?

We are based in New Zealand, All our mirrors are hand assembled in and shipped from New Zealand.

What do the mirrors come with?

All our Power Aero Mirrors come with installation hardware and a roll of adhesive foam tape to ensure the perfect seal.

Do you have any dealers or distributors?

We currently don’t have any dealers, retailers, or distributors anywhere in the world, we’ve always been direct to consumer. We prefer to remain a small vertical D2C brand where we can closely oversee manufacturing, assembly, logistics, and the overall customer experience from start to finish.

Customer service is something we take very seriously, and we genuinely enjoy taking the time to answer any questions before and after purchasing. By staying direct-to-consumer, we’re able to maintain the same level of communication, support, and attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Every set is hand assembled by us here in New Zealand and physically passes through our hands before being shipped out. So the person replying to your emails and Instagram messages is the same person building your mirrors.

We also have no desire to become a large mass production company. Staying small allows us to continue focusing on quality, attention to detail, and the overall customer experience above all else.

On our spring-loaded range of mirrors, we can usually get a package from New Zealand to most places in the US within 2-3 days of ordering, with shipping and tariffs included. From the customer’s perspective, that’s a really seamless experience, and it’s something we wouldn’t be able to maintain at the current price point once dealer margins are factored in.

Rather than increasing pricing to accommodate distributors or retailers, we’d much rather put that value back into the product and customer experience by offering free worldwide shipping. For countries such as the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, we also cover all taxes and duties.

So at this stage, we aren’t looking for any dealers or distribution partnerships.
